Date: 2013-03-07 12:31 am (UTC)The brownies are made from Recchiuti Confection's recipe for Rocky Road brownies--I leave out the walnuts and marshmallows. I also add about 1/2 teaspoon espresso powder to boost the chocolate flavor. I use the stuff from King Arthur, but I am guessing that any instant espresso powder could work as well.
The cappuccino part was achieved by adding about 1 teaspoon cinnamon and a 1/3 cup or so of King Arthur Cappuccino Chips to the dough. To be honest, I feel that the cappuccino flavors overwhelmed the chocolate--I may save the rest of the chips for cookies. But they're still good, esp. warm with vanilla ice cream.
