Been raining at a decent clip over the last week or so. Pouring outside now. And still no water in the sump pump well.

Happiness is rooting through the freezer and finding half an acorn squash stuffed with curried apples and raisins. Had it for dinner with a couple of slices of ham.

Puppy pictures. Because I’ve been taking them lately.

Well at least your chain link fence isn't as rusted and gorby as mine. I have no large trees in my yard but my leaves look like yours, my neighbors share. Joy!

My fence is 9 years old, and is still in decent shape. The panels that I use to fence off my raised bed are part of King's old kennel--they're 11 years old, and some of them are a mess.

I'd love to replace the chain link with a nice wood stockade fence, but that's way down on the list of need to have/nice to have.

More leaves have fallen over the last two days thanks to the rain. Some trees are almost bare.
