ksmith: (gimme a break)
The week was a combo of so-so things, really nice things, and one thing that's stopped me short. The coming weeks may prove more interesting than I would like. I don't want to go into more detail now--still digesting. Just hoping for the best.

Harry Potter movies playing on the Disney Channel. Only the 85th time I've seen them, but they're about all the traffic will bear at the moment.

Some foot and ankle pain drove me to see the foot doctor on Wednesday. I thought I needed new orthotics, even though they were only a year old. Instead, it turned out to be a combo of mild arthritis (Go ME!), the wrong shoes (not advisable for me to speed walk in running shoes) and the happy fact that my right leg is a fraction of an inch shorter than the left. Doctor built up the orthotics with adhesive padding, gave me some lifts, and wrote me a scrip for a prescription NSAID. So far, my feet feel better. One thing working out, at least.

Anyone else getting friended by folks whose blogs are either blank, filled with gibberish, or written in Russian? I know LJ is based at least partially in Russia now and has a Russian service, but these things are coming in bunches and I'm wondering if they're spam.
