Sunday morning, with dozing dogs

Began the day by grabbing King by the collar by hooking it with my thumb. He chose that moment to twist around.

It doesn't really hurt. The left side of the joint tweaks a bit when I move it. And how often do you move your thumbs, really?

::makes note to use fingers next time::

Third load of laundry in the washer. Second load in the dryer. Vacuumed. The usual Sunday morning excitements.

Yet another February Snow Watch is in the works. Stuff is supposed to start falling from the sky later this afternoon, then really speed up overnight. Taking a snow day tomorrow is not an option. I am not looking forward to this.

In other news, the Winter Storm Watch is now a Warning. Snow amounts are all over the place, but seem to be settling around 6-8 inches, with local bursts of up to 10 inches. Rockford is supposed to get pounded, and that's some distance from me, so here's hoping for an easy 4-5 inches and a relatively easy drive to work.

Hockey tonight. USA vs Canada. Canada is heavily favored to win it all. I'm just going to watch.

Rockford is supposed to get pounded, and that's some distance from me, so here's hoping for an easy 4-5 inches and a relatively easy drive to work.

It does me no good whatsoever to keep checking the weather sites. What will fall will fall. Latest WGN forecast for my area is 4-7 inches. Hoping it's closer to 4 than 7, since it's supposed to be the wet stuff that is such a joy to shovel.

I'll be getting up around 4am to see if I need to clean the drive. Looks like this Monday will be more Monday than most.

In a few weeks, I'll be starting my veggie seeds. Kind of hard to believe at the moment.
