First they say that the heaviest snow will be NW of the city, which ain't me. Then they say, "And possibly heavy close to the lake..." That's me. So. I'll be getting up way too early Monday morning. Will start the day with shoveling, if I have to. Otherwise, I'll pack the shovel in Kuro and be prepared to dig my way into the driveway when I get home.
Unless the storm fizzles, which could happen. That would be nice.
Baked a couple of pans of eggplant gratin,
recipe courtesy of Ina. Dinner tonight, and nine portions for freezing. I love being able to dig something good out of the freezer when I get home late. Tomorrow, pot roast with parsnips and celery and carrots and possibly some of last summer's tomatoes that I stewed and froze.
Found the curling coverage on CNBC. The US women just defeated Great Britain 6-5. They've won two in a row now, though I don't know what their standing is. Now it's back to the mothership to watch Apolo and Shani.
Fresh coffee. Gotta go.
