First of all, I need to reset the record regarding my phone call to Apple Tech Support on Saturday. Tech guy did call back. The thing is, since I have VoIP, I also have voicemail accessible from the Comcast internet site. The problem with this is that I forget I have it because it isn't my primary message system. Every so often, I need to remind myself to check the Comcast website for missed messages. I checked the site tonight for something else, and found the tech's phone message. He'd even left the ticket number open in case I had any other issues.

My wireless continues whacked. Just a few minutes ago, my connection dropped. I went into my settings and found that the router had reset to the gibberish setting that indicates that I have a wireless connection but can't actually connect to the internet. I chose another location, which as far as I can see is like the mini-file that contains info about my home wireless network, and got my connection back. It's a long story why I have multiple locations set up for my home network...actually, it's a short story. Whenever I would have problems, I'd go in and futz with the settings, and wind up setting up another location. So now I have about 4 for my home network. Looks like I may need them if I have to keep resetting dropped connections every so often.

Something is wrong. Could be a glitch in the internet connection. Could be that my router is going south. I tried going online with my work laptop over the weekend, and couldn't get online even though all indications were that I had a connection. It's a newer Dell and very touchy.

I am guessing that when things do go south, it will happen at the worst possible time. Can't wait.
