*oops*

I am mirroring/importing my LJ to Dreamwidth, and I sincerely hope that I did not dump several years of old posts into all my DW Friends' lists. If I have, I am so sorry.

Happy Mothers Day to all Moms! Kidmoms, dogmoms, kittymoms, fishmoms...

Busy morning. Dragged the last few bags of lava rock into the birdbath garden. Found to my surprise that a hardy hibiscus that I had decided wasn't so hardy after all actually survived the winter, and is starting to leaf--I weeded around it, then surrounded it with garden fencing to keep King from watering it. Replaced one of the tomato plants that I planted last week. The other five look battered, but they're standing straight up, the stalks are thickening, and tiny new leaves are showing. Buried the culled seedling in the bed next to the new arrival. Murderer me. Also planted the parsley and cilantro seedlings that I had left.

Cleaned up puppy stuff.

Changed my default icon. I liked Blushing Girl, but it was time for a change. That's me in the picture, pencil and paper in hand. I think I was three.

Have you seen the Visa commercial featuring the pizza guy? Damn, he's good.

Time for coffee...

Writer's Block: All About My Mother

[Error: unknown template qotd] I'm going to fudge a bit, but I pick Mrs. Gardiner from Pride & Prejudice, as played by Barbara Shelley in the 1980s BBC version. An island of good sense and calm.

Dreamwidth question

I set up DW to import my LJ. Do I need to do that every day, or will the importing go on automatically?

Is mirroring the same as importing?

I know DW has a FAQ. I figure I will get an answer more quickly here.
