I am full of fail. Only 1169 words tonight, which means I need to hit 2165 words tomorrow if I want to keep pace. I made the mistake of watching KO and Rachel. I'd have reached goal with room to spare.

I will be very glad when this election is over. No more checking TPM and fivethirtyeight and all those other damned sites a zillion times a day. No more bloody polls.

Can I watch the results tomorrow night with the sound off and hit my word count? I guess we'll find out, won't we?

When I sit on the couch, Gaby usually lies across one or both my shoes. Right now, her back is against my left shoe. Whe I sit at my desk, I have to be careful when I move my chair because she tucks herself against the rollers.

I feel guilty every time I move.
