I like boots. Higher heels are pretty much not an option for me, so I tend toward the less formal styles. I don't know how I wound up on the Sundance mailing list, but they carry stuff I rilly rilly like, at prices I rilly rilly don't want to pay, including lots of cool boots, like these, or more particularly, these. Coveted a pair of harness boots, I did I did, but not for $$$$$$.
So I checked eBay, and found a few possibles. Thought about making a bid on a pair of almost-but-not-quite, then held back and plugged "harness boots" into Google. Found these. Loved the details. Liked the price. Took a chance.
They arrived today, and it's Boot Love. The leather is soft, especially the shaft, and there's just enough hardware. The toe box is roomy, and there's a decent amount of support. The only drawback is that the heel is a little wide/slippy, but tightening the back buckle helped a lot, and the insertion of some heel thingies will take up the rest of the slack. There's room for some insoles, which I usually need.
Happy. Have perfect jeans boots. Happy happy.
