Recently, both [livejournal.com profile] jimhines and [livejournal.com profile] kateelliot changed their LJ names from nicknames to their actual writer names. I'm thinking of doing the same thing. For a time, I thought that I would use my blog purely for social purposes, and while I do tend to treat it as a virtual hotel bar most of the time, I also post writing news and link to my website. IOW, there's no real reason to keep the blog a secret.

"kaygo" is a chop-up of a potential pseudonym, but it's not in use yet, so there's no association with anything. Unfortunately, it's also danged short and easy to remember, spell, and type. I don't want to use "kristinesmith" as a username. So, I'll see what I can work out. If/When things change, you guys will be the first to know.

...[livejournal.com profile] kristine_smith.

I had to go with the underscore as the name w/o was taken. Looks like the change has already zipped through the system.

The eBay post for my Tuckerization.

Buy it for yourself. Your best friend. Your dog. That goldfish you had when you were eight. It's adaptable. It shreds! It slices and dices! It plays the kazoo and whistles "Rule, Britannia!" AT THE SAME TIME.

It will never grow old, thanks to a strange word processing program I bought from a one-eyed street vendor in Phnom Phen.

It's what you need to complete the circle. Remember what the monk told you before he died.

It's the mirrors...
