In Incident mode. A few wrap-up plot points downloaded this morning, along with a little extra fillip that will mean something to folks who've read the books. You'll know it when you see it is all I'll say.

I love it when that happens.

I would also love to say that I will wrap it up this weekend, but damn, we're talking action/chase/two fight scenes and a bout of documents surgery. Is there enough coffee, and why can't the groceries just sort of transport from the store and into my cupboards without my intervention?

Took yet another personality test, gacked from [livejournal.com profile] deannahoak. I am apparently a Considerate Visionary:

More coffee. Back to work.

Beautiful day. 70s. Low humidity. Cloudless sky. I was standing out in the sideyard watering shrubs when I looked overhead and saw two hawks circling. If the color of the tail feathers was any indication, they were red-tails. They didn't seem to be going anywhere in particular. Just slow, lazy intersecting loops over the yards. Personally, I think they were scoping for small pets, but that could just be me.

I have seen them swoop through the backyard once or twice. A low-flying hawk will get your attention.

The day job site has quite a bit of undeveloped land. There's a golden eagle there. What a gorgeous animal.

Not quite 1250 words so far today. I'd like to hit 3x that, but we'll see. Back to it...
