Rained all day, which at least cooled things down from yesterday's 90+F. Of course it stopped now, when it's too late to do anything except get ready for the workday week.

Finished rewriting Chapter 8. Calved off the old ending and punted that to Chapter 9, and ended 8 with a sex scene that isn't, three paragraphs of clothing removal and internal thought, ending with the ruminations of a troubled mind.

You know what's funny? My old Chapter 8, a Jani-Niall chapter that I state on my website should be pushed up to Chapter 4 or 5, is going to wind up as Chapter 10. Hah. Hah hah hah.

Now, I think I should slice my shoes and give the old heel a tryout...
