Last day of the eleventh month
Nov. 30th, 2005 09:20 pmWe won't bother to ask where the heck the year went.
In iPod news, we're up to 1.3 days worth of music loaded. I realize that this is a comparatively simple device, but it still boggles me. And of course, results of studies released yesterday indicate that playing an MP3 player too loudly for too long a time (15 minutes for the in-ear earbuds) can lead to hearing loss.
I'll try not to blast it too loud.
Counting the days to the holidays. We supposed to get an inch of snow tonight, the scant remnants of a storm currently passing over Iowa. I tell myself that it will lend a festive air.
In other news, it looks like the release of the Baen online magazine issue that will contain the as-yet-to-be-written Jani story has been pushed up from December '06 to October '06. The response has apparently led Baen to go for a bimonthly release schedule instead of a quarterly one. Good news, except that my due date moves up.
Oh well, what's another deadline...?
