Thunderstorms woke me up at 330am. Rain hosed down, overwhelming the gutters and spilling over the sides. Something hit the windows and rooftop like BBs. Could have been the rain, or possibly hail. It looked a hail sky, the orange tint revealing itself every time lightning lit up everything.

So, the storm woke me up. Wondering whether my gutters need cleaning kept me up. Remembering I left the wheelbarrow outside. Hoping that 4 years is considered almost-new for a roof. At least I don't have to worry about sprinkling this afternoon, which means I'll have time to drag the ladder out of the garage and check the gutters.

I should try to get some sleep. Read ginmar's latest post--apparently she's been ordered to give up her cat. I hope she can find a home for it. Now I'm going to ponder that as well.
