I'm sorry, my knowledge of current events is spotty - who is Benen?

Am I right in thinking there's a regular baby sloths show on cable somewhere? I don't have cable any more so I can't confirm it...

Steve Benen. He was a columnist with The Washington Monthly (see link on the left). Now he's a producer of the Rachel Maddow Show, and a contributor to the show's blog (no link yet).

Very sane. Not given to Chicken Littleness like some.

I think the sloth clip came from a show on the Animal Planet channel. I don't often watch Animal Planet, so I don't know if there's a regular show that features sloths alone, or not.
