Are any of you Macfolk planning on giving Camino a flutter? Will it offer advantages over Safari?

I'll go check it out. It claims to be recommended by c|Net over Safari for advanced security setting and privacy features.

Thanks!

I've just loaded it. In some ways, it reminds me of IE for the Mac, although the graphics are updated. It picks up a few things that Safari didn't, such as the little figure that shows up in the box when you log in to LJ.

We'll see how it goes.

Camino, Safari, and Firefox all have their ups and downs. I'm using Firefox at this point but there are definitely times when I miss the others.

I think Safari is sharper looking than Camino, which really does strike me as updated IE for the Mac (right down to the chintzy b/w spinny that shows up when pages load. It handles some things better than Safari so far, like logging onto my credit union website. Safari often stalled and balked--some Java issue--but Camino seemed to work just fine.

I was able to import my bookmarks from Safari, which came in handy. I don't see any issues with the appearance of my LJ page unless I increase the font size--then the text migrates outside borders.

I haven't tried Firefox. I think I'll stick with Camino and Safari for now.
