Remember when we all signed up? Well, when many of us did. When it was all the rage?

I never visit my page anymore. I am debating just deleting it--is that the way to go?

"Thirteen thousand cycles ago Digital Archaeologist Theopololis Beiber reported a new discovery in the digital records of the 21st Century PS* which appears to be one of the precursors of the modern music hall. Interestingly it appears the separation between social and digital space wasn't even in discussion at this point. Also of interest, it appears numerous Netizens left the hall intact even long after it was no longer in use. The reasons for this behaviour is unclear." OmniPedia.SS15

I tried to delete mine about a month ago. They send an email, and you have to click on the email to "validate" the deletion. No matter which email account I had them send to, the email *never* arrived.

It's the Hotel California, I tell you.

I have heard rumors of people deleting their accounts. Like reports of Nessie and Bigfoot sightings, they are many, but as to actual proof....

I submitted a cancellation request. We'll see what happens.

I actually received an email. Clicked on the link and confirmed my request. My account is supposed to be deleted within 48 hours.

We'll see....

I didn't delete mine, but I turned off notifications and updated it to basically say "Hi, I'm Jim, and I don't hang out here anymore, but you can find me at X and Y and Z..." Just in case someone, somehow, stumbles onto that page.

I figure it doesn't hurt to leave it there as basically a placeholder and redirect to my active sites.

And that's basically what I've done, given the fact that I can't delete it!

I just tried to log in, and got an "invalid email or password" error message. Ran a search, and couldn't find me. I think I'm gone.

My email turned up in one of my spam mailboxes, so check them all.
