The poor little thing is so rag doll weak, it breaks my heart.

As for the owners who put it outside because it was acting sick...my sincere hope for people like that is that someday someone does to them what they did to their pets.

A good samaritan found this cat today in a gutter by Clark Park, half dead. He is now at the Cat Doctor with a body temperature of 90 (normal is 102) and blood PCV of 8. The Cat Doctor housecat, Diamond, is currently donating blood to save his life. During the exam, the vet found that this cat has a microchip. When called, his "owners" reported that he was acting sick, so they put him outside. If this makes you as angry as it makes us, please channel your anger in one of two ways: visit our website at www.citykitties.org and make a donation to help us pay for his care, or share this post and encourage others to do so.

Wow, I am nearly-crying with rage, because that is so awful and hateful and gross. And it may be petty and unworthy of me, but I'm 100% with you on hoping someone does to them what they do to their pets.

Oh, I am most petty and unworthy at times like this. Not nice at all.

But good news upstream. Clark Kent is improving, and his owners-in-name-only relinquished all rights.

That is VERY good news. (And me too, petty and unworthy. There is very little in this world that makes me angrier than people who are indifferent to the suffering of animals.)
