ksmith...whether 907 yo Dr is the one in the spacesuit. The one who killed 1107 yo version, then gave the performance of his life.
The only thing that makes me think this is the timing of younger Dr showing up. He would have had plenty of time to exit the lake and hightail back to the town while Amy, Rory, and River burned his older self. In fact, he may have had the TARDIS, since we don't see it until they drop into Nixon's office.
Then there's the fact that everything is pointing to River as the killer, which seems too simple. Yes, I know all about the hole-in-the-universe-if-the-two-Doctors-interact, but exceptions abound in the Whoverse. Maybe the Doctor needed to create such a hole to trap the Silents at some future point.
Thinking too much.
