An ad on the grocery store bulletin board announcing puppies for sale. An interesting breed, one I'd never heard of. "French Massives"

Funny--they looked just like mastiffs.

I wondered whether it was a purpose pitch. I also wondered whether "Massive" was a gallification of the name, like "massif" or something.

But I Googled. French Mastiffs are spelled the same as all the other ones.

It was amusing. *g*
