ksmithFinally broke down and downloaded Adblock for Safari as the ads were slowing down pageloads something fierce.It's supposed to show up as an icon in the Safari Preferences panel, but so far I don't see it. I think it's working. Pages are loading faster. But it's all guesswork on my part because I can't find it anywhere.
Anyone out there using Snow Leopard/Safari 5.0.3 w/ Adblock? If you are, does the tab/icon show up
anywhere?
UPDATE: for whatever reason, both attempts at installing AdBlock using the pkg downloaded from the website failed. Installing via Safari Extensions worked. Maybe you can't download it from another website if it's available from Extensions? In any event, it's working
