Mar. 16th, 2010 11:52 pmRigged a plastic bag with a gauze tie and tied it over King's bandage so I could take him outside. To my surprise, he accepted it. Walked around. Did his business. No sign of a limp and even that he favors the leg. Very different from Gaby, who limped even after the bandage was removed.
He's sleeping again. Tired, I can take. The whimpering and disorientation bothered me.
Writing. I have the NIT tournament playing in the background because I need the noise and I don't care about college basketball so I'm not compelled to watch. I will say, though, that I am old enough to remember when the NIT was the equal of the NCAA, if not the more favored tournament. Now it's also-rans and half-empty stands--ESPN2 is taking some care with the camera angles to avoid showing all the empty seats. I don't know when the NCAA took precedence, but the difference is startling.
