Gah!

Light flakage falling. Doesn't even merit the term "snow", but still...

Soon to be followed by the nice cold snap. Here in Minneapolis we're 10 deg F colder than we've been so far this fall.

I'm looking forward to a good, hard freeze. Maybe that will finally kill off the last of the mold that's been making my allergy life a living hell these past few weeks.

Go! Freeze! Go! Freeze!

And right now the outside thermometer is reading 21.6F. That's way colder than normal.

Expecting record high temps here (high 70s) in clear and breezy conditions.

Normally I'd say "phfft," but I'm really looking forward to my allergies taking a hike until Spring. They've been dragging me down for the last two weeks, and clear/70s is like the worst combination.

We're getting Real Snow(tm), soon to be followed by Covered Grass and Slick Roads.

We dodged that, but we did wind up with the temps in the mid 20s and winds that make it feel much colder. I got home, ate dinner reallyfast, then dragged on the barncoat and set up King's winter water dish, the plug-in one that keeps water from freezing. It's so much fun stringing an extension cord in the cold, windy, darkness. Yeah.
