The last two days were beyond dreary. Rain, rain, and more rain. Low cloud cover. Dusk-like darkness at 2 in the afternoon.

The rain is finally easing, but snow may be following in its tracks. The wind has picked up again and the temps are dropping. The snow that's hitting Iowa now could reach us during the early morning, although the ground may still be warm enough that it won't stick.

The froggie windchimes are hanging outside, tinkling away like sleighbells.

I didn't send our rain and gloom to you. Honest. We just had a dark at 2 pm day too. grrrr.

P.S. You can send some of that snow our way though. :-) I'm tired of grey and clammy.

Given how dry it's been, I wonder if we'll have any snow to send. We usually get our first taste of the white stuff by October 30 according to the weathergeeks, and here it is mid-November...

We don't get snow every winter. When we do get snow, it comes in small fits from Nov-Jan (and that one rogue storm in April a couple of winters ago was kinda cool).
