Looks like I may have a reading after all--4:30pm on Thursday.

It won't be in the Program Book, but there will be program update signs posted. I was told I could also post my own signs--has anyone done that? Is it a good idea?

UPDATE: Who would have thought that the pack of fluorescent paper I bought during a sale at KMart would come in handy? Signage is printed. Need to check the bookstore bag for pens, stickers, bookplates, bookmarks, and such. Load a box of books into the car, just in case.

So much to do...

I've done that at Worldcons-- usually the signs include a message that I'll be handing out chocolates, snacks and/or signed arcs to help draw people in.

Hey, a use for some of that leftover Halloween candy...

If you're handing out postcards or bookmarks, you can tuck a sign behind them with the time and date of your reading.

Not sure how effective wall signs are -- and remember to bring a selection of sticking medium since hotels get cranky about tape on walls, and you don't know if there will be bulletin boards or what for you to put notices on.

Guess I'll bring up some of the old bookmarks, and a few signs, and tape and tacks and whatever else. And candy.
