ksmithGot dressed. Did hair and make-up. Walked out to living room with coffee, and saw King sacked out on his bed. No Gaby, though. Checked under the dining room table. Nope. King's bed in my office. Nope. I knew I hadn't left her outside--even I'm not that far gone before coffee.

Stick head in my bedroom, and find a sleepy girl staring back from atop the bed.
She is now off the bed, and back in the living room. Every so often, I am the recipient of a probing stare.
I can afford to be amused because there were no muddy paws involved.
