And it isn't even noon yet.
All I wanted from the nearby Big Box were t-shirts and socks. Wound up buying men's t's in nice basic shades of black, white, charcoal, and a really nice cocoa brown. A men's L fits me well. Something called "athletic fit"--allows room for my wide receiver shoulders and some breathing room. The womens' t's were ridiculous. Even the XXLs (!!!) were too snug, and the ones that fit kinda had those damned cap sleeves. I hate cap sleeves. Cap sleeves are fine for teens with pipe stem arms. But my arms are not, and have never been, and will never be pipe stem, which means that the shirt looks too small no matter how it fits anywhere else.
Should have stopped there. But I found one of my fave cold cereals in a value pack, and stocked up. Tissue, the same. A cute lime green enameled tea kettle on the bargain shelf. Laundry detergent and deodorizers and I finally managed to get out of there. Then it was on to the hardware store for hose and stuff. I really should avoid hardware stores, especially now that I'm trying to grow stuff, and now have room on the west side of the house for a birdbath and stuff since I took down King's kennel.
I held off on the birdbath.
Then came the feedstore for dogfood. Oh look--Solid Gold beef jerky treats. Then came the grocery store, where I managed to put the brakes on. Except for the chocolate, which will go with me to Madison.
Filled up Kuro. Came home and unloaded the car. Getting a massage in an hour. I need it.
Need to write this afternoon and evening. It's supposed to be nice outside tomorrow, too. I will work outside then.
