Whifsey Schedule, Parts 1 and 2

Should be a fun panel.

Thursday 8:00-9:00PM
The Bathroom: Necessities of World-Building Capitol A
Just as a livable house needs space for the mundanities of daily life, a good fantasy world needs to provide a workable society. How do you create a world with a reasonable economy, food supply, toothbrushes, and plumbing? After you've done your research, how much of it do you show your reader?
Elizabeth Bear, Patricia Bray, Charles Coleman Finlay, Sarah Monette, Kristine Smith (M)

UPDATE: There's a mass autographing meet n greet on Friday from 8-1030p. That's apparently all she wrote for me, programming-wise. I would have liked a reading slot, but oh well.

Here's a link to the schedule. Much stuff going on:

And a couple of hours later, Auntie Esther and others talk about food and cooking, which I really want to see.

Granted, my WFC experience is limited, but it's always a good con to attend if you can. Some folks say more so than Worldcon.

Wow...quite a lineup! I'll definitely hope to be able to make it to that one.

You could sit in Capitol A from 3pm-11pm, and see a lot of really interesting stuff.

From 3-4, Lisa Freitag, an MD, and Angela Lathrop, a DVM, discuss medicine for writers. I want to be there for that one.
