This morning, temps were in the mid-40s (F). Highs of 60ish. We'll be warming back up to the high 70s for the weekend, though.

I don't think I could handle 100+ for too many days in a row. It's the one thing that slams on the brakes when I think of retiring to Texas.

It's not that bad. If I were moving from Chicago, I wouldn't move to Houston. Maybe Austin where it's a dry heat. I've lived in Houston all of my life, so adaptation has occurred.

Kim has actually suggested moving to Colorado. Aliens have abducted my wife. This is a lady who said any place north of Dallas got too cold. She's been doing a lot of work outside for a neighbor this summer, so that has affected her thoughts this year.
