So King has been munching on mulch and dirt since Spring sprungeth and the ground unfrozeth and the snow melted to reveal said mulch. No real issues apparent until the last 24 hours, during which time he's thrown up twice. Outside, thanks. Have a call in to the vet to see if I should activate the standing scrip for Sucralfate to keep whatever minor stomach irritation may be there from blowing up into something bigger.

I got rid of much of the mulch last fall, but there's still some left. But if he doesn't chew on that, he settles for chewing on branches. As for dirt...not much I can do about that.

I long for the days when he ate grass.
