And in other news, my new keyboard arrived today. It's nice to have an ergo board again. The touchpad is easy to use, though I wish it was located off to the right rather than centered. I think I'll have to break down and get a USB hub--the iMac only has three USB ports--the two printers take two, so I sacrificed the memory stick dock in order to plug in the keyboard. It was a simple case of plug 'n' play from there. I have to deal with a cord I didn't think I'd see again, but other than that, I'm glad I made the switch. It's a nice board.

A few days ago, it all seemed much more important.

Grr! Yes! And how about slightly recessed as well so my palm doesn't move the cursor to who knows where. Then, how about putting the battery pack over on the left hand side to compensate for the keyboard being slightly left of center. (I would have been a great Industrial Designer (if the math hadn't been too hard)).

I'd say mine appears to be slightly recessed, and given that this is a split board, the odds of my brushing over the pad are slight--as it stands now, I have my hands resting on the support on either side of the pad as I type.

Did that sentence make sense--it's been a long day. But, I'm taking Friday off, which means tomorrow is my Friday, and I have a four-day weekend to look forward to.

Grin. I tried making a pot of coffee this morning and forgot to put in a filter full of coffee. It was a lovely pot of hot water. Geeenyus!
