I woke up too early, and ran through shopping lists in my head. Much planned for the morning. Much Much.
Then I got out of bed and looked out the window. OK, it was only an inch of powder. But the driveway was so nice and dry and the ice patches were eroding away and I didn't have to watch every step, dammit.
We could wind up with a few more inches before it all ends tomorrow. South of the city is going to get pasted, but it was their turn anyway.
I wouldn't be half this cranky but for the fact that I have to drive Harrison, and he has no weight in the back. First thing I have to do is call the hardware stores and see if they have sandbags. Temps are in the high 20s--with any luck, they've taken care of the main roads so I'll just be dealing with wet instead of slush.
