I think GothGirl emoticons work with Mint Chocolate Chip formatting, don't you?

Today was an up and down day. Got through the day job--one day closer to retirement. Then came some fun--the every-six-weeks hair trim, a short tousled cut with a lot of layering. Very different from the book pic on the website homepage--not only have I gotten rid of the blonde highlights, but I've lost a good 8-10 inches of hair. I love it. For years, I was a short-haired person pretending to be a long-haired one. It was ok while it lasted, but you need better hair than I have to pull it off once you hit your 40s. Now I have the short, dark city cut and the black horn rims, which make me feel very authorly. I shall start to wear lots of black and drink single malt scotch.

Well, maybe I won't get that serious. How can I, when I do things like buy Toxic Green and Trip'd Out Pink colored styling glue and actually contemplate wearing it to work? Ok, maybe I will hold off and save it for conventions and book appearances. I know, no guts, no glory. Then again, no job either, followed by no money.

Trying to figure out what else to do tonight. The list of possibilities is well nigh endless--work on taxes, or read a chapter or two of What Color Is Your Parachute?, or start the new Ian Rankin mystery that arrived the other day. Or work on the book.

Or muck about with LJ.

Now you see it

Not sure if GothGirl works with pistachio

What to do?

Goth Girl works everywhere. :-)

Cool! on the haircut! And if one of the S2 layouts is merely close to what you want, you can customize the colors. That's how I got the colors I did on my own page -- did them to match my authorial web site.

The colors closest to my website were Bruise (which would have gone so well with GothGirl) or the other scheme with the black background. But then I tinkered with those OSDP (or whatever whatever) layouts, and liked the clean lines.

I may still go back to Bruise, though, if only because of the name.

Woo! Welcome to this crazy world ;) The haircut sounds cool, can't wait to see it. You'll need to either take pictures or keep it like that until I make it back to the States.

Now you need some icons.
