Saturday morning, windy and cool

ksmith...or maybe "cold" still describes it. Too cold to put things in the ground. Even so, the heating/cooling company did phone last week to set up the annual A/C check-up. I still have a cover on the thing, but 70s are expected next week and I'm sure I'll be using it soon enough.
The neighbors across the street have set things up so that three feral/outdoor cats can live out of their garage. Two of the cats are currently playing tag in the front yard, hiding behind trees and such and jumping out at one another. King has an unimpeded view of that front yard and is of course barking at them, for all the good it will do.
Today, the hardware store beckons. I need a yard tool rack for the garage and reels for garden hoses. I also need landscape trim, but I won't be doing much landscape work other than raking until it warms up, so maybe that can wait. *sigh* I want to trim with stone, but that can be expensive. I may settle for that black rubbery landscapers' trim, despite it being so boring.
