Sunday, early afternoon

So it's cloudy outside, my allergies are acting up, and the goal for the day to is try to avoid doing anything useful. Since we're still stiff from dragging around bags of mulch and finishing off the birdbath/feeder/oasis yesterday, this may be an easy goal. Thought about cutting the lawn, and decided against. This means I had better do it by next Saturday or it will be knee-high before I know it.

Received a PBS catalog a couple of weeks ago, and am holding onto it because it contains therein the happy news that The Barchester Chronicles are on DVD. This was a mid-80s BBC series starring, among others, Alan Rickman as "the odious Mr. Slope". He was positively reptilian in this one, boys and girls, and oh I want I want.

*sigh* Should write a little, and try to enjoy the rest of the day since the week coming up will be hectic to say the least...

I didn't even know PBS had a catalog. Must request one for my catalog collection. Not that I ever order anything from any of them, but that's beside the point.

Bad Me went and ordered the DVD from an online purveyor for less money, however.
