Just had a snack of warm Brie on crackers with sliced apples and a glass of chard. Call me Stuck in the 80s, that's okay.

I just got back from the farmer's market with bread, cheese, prosciutto, chicken cutlets, and lemons. The '10s are the new '80s, apparently. :-)

Oh, also chocolate. I made sure to eat before shopping, but I guess it didn't take. All I wanted was fresh mozzarella to go with the tomatoes I bought yesterday! ;-)

Oh, my that sounds good. Now that I'm back in the air conditioning, at least. (Was out mowing on the big tractor, which has developed a peculiarity to its PTO--sometimes it mows, sometimes it thrashes the grass, meaning the power's not getting all the way to the blades.

I've always enjoyed baked Brie, whether with sweet or savory. I've had it baked in puff pastry, with fruit, shrimp, mushrooms. Bread or crackers. I like cheese, but I don't often eat it for itself alone. Except for Brie..

I went to a new grocery store today, and was pleasantly surprised by their produce section. I didn't get anything exotic, but I stocked up on blueberries and pink grapefruit. The blueberries are for morning cereal, but I really enjoy grapefruit sections in a green salad or with salmon/tuna. The juice makes a nice marinade, too.
