I tend to either get the CD from the library or go without. I'm lucky enough to have a really good local library system tho :). I can see the temptation of Itunes tho... they seem to make it about 100% more convenient than any other online music shop.

Date: 2005-02-22 01:04 am (UTC)First, I downloaded a couple of favorite hard-to-find songs. Then, a couple of "CDs", Franz Ferdinand and recent Belle & Sebastian. Last night, I found a couple of songs from the iPod commercials that caught my ear--someone just hapened to post a mix of music from said commercials.
I kinda miss the CD inserts with the lyrics and photos and whatnot. iTunes has it now so you can print out a CD label/insert for whichever CD you buy--either they didn't have that when I bought my CDs, or I missed out on how to do it. I wonder if I can go back and print them out...?
