For the first time in an age, I felt compelled to keep writing until I finished a chapter. Granted this was Ch 6, which had already lost 9 pages several days ago and just kept dragging on and dragging on.

Finally, I decided that I needed to finish the damned thing. Maybe it was the fact that a friend on another list just finished her wip that drove me onward. Maybe it was because I had finally figured out the POV's mindset and knew how she felt and why. For whatever reason, I kept pushing, and 6 pages/1300+ words later, Ch 6 is done, and I am not am not AM NOT going back to edit it. I want to dive into Ch 7, which is pretty far along. It needs a new opening now, however, thanks to things that happened in Ch 6.

And if I seem to be rambling semi-aimlessly, well, it is Sunday night and the day job beckons. Not the sort of circumstance to improve one's mindset.

But I am very glad I finally have that blasted chapter out of my hair.
