Feb. 22nd, 2010 08:26 pmThe storm moved through faster than expected, and temps hovered around freezing or slightly above. Result, about 3 inches of heavy wet snow around here. Inconvenient, but not all that limiting. I got up at 4am to shovel. Allowed an hour to get to work, and made it in my usual 20 minutes. The plows must have been busy--except for the odd patch of slush, the roads were clear.
For all I'm sick of winter, the scenery was pretty. A monochrome of milky grey sky and whited trees and shrubs. Silver and pearl.
Monday's winding down. I know I had more to post, but I forgot it all. Tired. Long day.
