I think this is fairly true. I usually have to do things myself before I figure them out. Funny that the Read/Write isn't higher...

The VARK Questionnaire Results

Your scores were:

Visual: 2
Aural: 2
Read/Write: 8
Kinesthetic: 4

You have a very strong Read/Write learning preference.

I got about the results that I expected, except I'm surprised Aural made it as high as 2 - being told things annoys me. I'd rather read it or just jump right in and do it myself.

I think there's a low-tech bias in this, though. For example, in the question about the around the world trip, of *course* I'd send my itinerary to whoever I wanted to talk to about it. Given that I probably got it from the travel agent through email, it would be the most logical course, even if I then followed up with a phone conversation or something. I think there were other questions I had questions about, but that's the one that really sticks in my head.

Oh, I just remembered. The one about the textbook. The assumption, or so it seems, that I would trust another's report as much as I'd trust my own evaluation (reading a bit of the book or having a friend tell me about it) seems... odd and completely unrelated to learning modalities.
