Watching Today. The person commenting for the Republicans on the "economic blame game" is a woman with the surname Hoover. Did someone really not realize the irony? I mean, yes, her name is what it is, but come on.

Since the Republicans have been *playing* the economic blame game for years (it's all Clinton's fault, it's all the Democrats' fault, if it weren't for welfare mothers and all those stupid old people on Social Security and Medicare, we could bomb the whole world into submission without going broke) I find it even more ironic (but utterly predictable) that they're now blaming anyone but the people responsible (oddly enough, a lot of Republicans) for this mess, and then blaming the people who complain about that. For blame-gamesmanship, nobody beats 'em.
