The Christmas tree guy is setting up in his usual place, the parking lot of a local mall. I am guessing he will be going live this weekend.

I still have autumn wreaths on the house and garage. Not ready for pine and holly yet.

Ditto. We don't bust out the Christmas stuff until Thanksgiving is done.

I want to say that in the past, Tree Guy didn't start selling until after Thanksgiving. But it's a different year. Maybe people will spend money on the tree and other decorations and scrimp on gifts?

We've cut out gifts for everyone except the kidlet in favor of a family vacation. No Christmas card mass mailing, no corporate gift exchange, nada.

We will, however, deck the halls mightily.

My birthday is Nov. 30th, so I resist any Christmas decorating before Dec. 1 vehemently.
