It's not that I dislike The Fixx--they were never a fave band, but I didn't reach for the dial when they came on. "Saved by Zero" was an OK song.

But damn, they went and sold it to Toyota, and it seems as though the only commercial they play on Chicago TV during the weekends is that damned Toyota limited time only sale with 0% interest and singers who are not Cy Curnin et al singing "Saved by zero" over and over and over...

That commercial makes me want to shriek and chant "La la la la la" over and over to drown it out. Or, you know, I could switch channels or hit mute. The shrieking and chanting seem more reasonable responses.

I keep looking for a date on that commercial as to when the sale ends, but I can't find it. Rats.
