But I wanted to be Season 6. Really.

Or maybe 5, or even 7 (even if I haven't seen it).

season 03
Season Three - A lot of people say that you're the
best, and who could really argue - you're
pretty, witty, and you've got one of Buffy's
best adversaries: the Mayor. Pound for pound,
you're why so many people love Buffy.

Heh, I came out as Season V

Image
Season Five - You're about growing up, and you're
probably the most mature of the bunch; after
all, you've got Buffy giving up her own life to
stop uber-tramp Glory. Your best episode is
"the Body," which explores the
process of grief by breaking TV conventions of
sound design.

Actually, that wasn't such a bad season, even though I thought Glory was hotter than any of the regular cast... I can't help if I have a weak spot for blond megalomaniac evil chicks, now, can I? :)

I thought Glory was a pretty good Big Bad--she did offhand amorality well. Her ending was less of a fizzle than the Mayor's--is it just me, or do Joss and Friends tend to drop the ball when it comes to giving BBs their final send-offs? I realize that the story is ultimately about Buffy, but I would think that if you're building a BB over the course of a season, you would kill them off with a little more pizzazz.

I was a season five, too. Not one of my favorite seasons (numbers two and three are in contention for that spot), but nowhere near the horribleness that was season six (I was *so* happy when Joss retconned that whole "magic is an addicting substance like heroin" bit out of existence in the first episode of season seven).

Season five did have my favorite Anya moment - when they were all sitting around moaning about how impossible it was going to be to fight Glory, and she told them to stop it. "Well, what do *you* think we should do?" she was asked, in very sarcastic tones. With typical Anya straightforwardness, she responded by rattling off a list of things that could be used.
