Most of the words were writ this morning, in my two-hour what-the-hell-time-is-it block. A good sign, I think.

It's remarkable how the words stack up at that 3-page pace.

I had a few off days this weekend, while we were at McCormick Place for a volleyball tournament, but a chapter was finished yesterday. Good to know other people are on the hamster wheel, too. :-)

I haven't been able to manage it all the time, but I'm just into the third week and I need to rebuild the writing muscles. Didn't get as much done this weekend as I wanted...except for the thinking part, which is just as important.

I keep a log of words per day in a calendar journal I received as part of a QPB oops-didn't-cancel-the-monthly-selection-in-time shipment. Looking back even a week, I see several thousand words have been written. It's a good feeling.

I need a hamster-on-a-wheel icon.

the background was a little dark for black type. red popped out the most. if I knew more, I could do a flash that shows words and then a hamster running on his wheel, but my photoshop-fu isn't always strong. :-(
