Power was out an hour--just came back on. Winds are honkin', and something must've blown out/over/down.

The fire was going, and the battery-powered wreath was shining. Made the living room look very eerie.

So I was watching Prisoner of Azkaban (sp?)--power konked out with about an hour to go. One question:

Was the hippogriff really executed, or was it staged?

Thanks--the power came back on and I saw that the channel was replaying the movie, so I sat through it again. I had a feeling that they hadn't, because you didn't actually see the body, but you never know.

Little bastard Malfoy--can I ask, why does he wield the power he does? Does he give any indication that he's a powerful wizard in the making, or is it all Daddy? Because he appears to be a coward--he collapses if anyone stands up to him with intent. These are smart kids--they could make his life miserable, and work it so it never gets traced back to them.

Of course, the old-fashioned punch in the nose seemed to work well, too.

At this point it's all Daddy. Lucius Malfoy has a lot of power thanks to his money and his past connections to the Dark Lord. All Draco has is the threat of his father's power over his classmates.
