That is all.

That is one smart canine. With lots of time on his hands.

I would think "That is enough" goes with "That is all."

Surely you didn't let him watch TV, where that cute fluffy blonde puppy pulls the paper off the roll, did you?

Though King is quite smart enough to figure it out on his own. "Wheee....look what I can do...Mom will appreciate my decorative talent..."

Well, it's one of those easy slip-on/slip-off from the side rollers. This means that the roll comes off pretty easily, which in turn reduces the unrolliness. A little. Only found a single streamer in the bathroom, and flecks in the other rooms.

I do leave the TV on for them. Who knows what they're picking up.

You'd think they'd watch the occasional cooking show and have dinner waiting for me when I got home, but nooooooo...

Daytime TV commercials, are all about housewifery, and often involve showing a cute dog and/or kid making a mess which "the mom" then cleans up with the product being advertised or takes medicine for her headache/stomachache/etc. so she *can* clean it up cheerfully.

Subversive viewing for dogs.

Of course they should watch cooking shows and fix you dinner. But of course if they watch cooking shows, they'll simply learn to slaver for the ingredients. Make them watch PBS daytime. Maybe Clifford the Big Red Dog's care for Emily Elizabeth will teach them to cosset you. Maybe Mr. Rogers will teach them to be kind and thoughtful and find nondestructive things to do when they're bored or upset. And at least there shouldn't be any toilet-roll-unrolling.

Congratulations and aren't you lucky. :P

Meanwhile, mine barks at the sinister bathroom wastebasket, getting it to cower in place by tipping it over and savaging the contents.

All over the house.

I'm trying to decide which dog I'd prefer. I'll be here for a while.

Wastebaskets are one of the household Enemies, along with the sinister Pillow People, that can be gutted. The spreading of Enemy Entrails throughout the house wards against the invasion by other Enemies.

Doesn't do a damned thing to ward off the Upright Howling Thing with the loooong hose-y snout that Mom insists on dragging through the house numerous times a week, but they're working on it.

While my dogs don't have access to bathrooms, cats do, and I have learned that I cannot actually put the roll of toilet paper on the dispenser thingy or it will be used to festoon the bedroom and hallway.

I worry about King and educational TV, because he's the Thinker of the two. Mickey will occasionally do something devious like fake King out so he can get the bolster puppy bed, but King is the one who stares at the treadmill track while I'm running and tries to figure out where it goes.

I'm just glad he doesn't have opposable thumbs.
