I was sad not to get a chance to meet you this year, but I'm hoping for next. But then I'll be able to gush how much I liked Endgame.

I'm trying not to be *too* bummed about it. But the long and short of it is, the only convention I'll get to do this year is Norwescon -- which has come and gone, and which frankly wasn't that great.

Sympathies to you both. I have a membership to WFC, but if I can't get into the main hotel, I'm probably going to have to sell the membership.

Yeah. I had been attending Wiscon every year since 1996. Missed the last two, and feel really left out. And I've forgotten what a Worldcon feels like.

No, the trend I don't like is the 'have to cancel out of a con' trend. I'm all for whiskey...although I confess a preference for bourbon.

At the risk of mentioning politics, it's just the amount of money trickling down to the masses isn't enough anymore. We may have to overthrow the CEOs...

I have crash space for a convention in OK in two weeks. At least I'll make that one. And if I have a roomie for ApolloCon, I'll go there. ArmadilloCon is here -- anything else is pending...
