...it all changed.

Actually, it's been coming on for a few days, but came to a head this morning.

I won't be able to attend Wiscon.

Lots of stuff, little and big, led up to this. I'm bummed--I was looking forward to seeing folks, and walking up and down State Street.

But I'm still going to take the time off. In a weird way, it'll be nice to get up in a morning and not *have* to be somewhere. There will be things that need doing, but it's not the same thing as having to be somewhere at *mumble-thirty*.

Please don't contact me about my room/memberships--I've already contacted the concom, and they're going to tell me how to proceed with any transfers/whatever.

I'm sorry you're not going to make it to the conference, but I can sure sympathize with your lack of desire to travel. Every year I get more resistant to leaving my nice comfy home.
