Mac word processing programs

Anyone out there ever tried NeoOffice? I think it looks interesting and am tempted to give it a try.

Yes, I've tried it. I liked it okay, especially once I d/l'ed a newer version in which italics work correctly (i.e., it seems to be a work in progress). If I were using my Mac more I'd probably still be using it. Doesn't have all the bells and whistles, which is fine for just writing.

Thanks for the input. It's important that italics work since I'm supposed to stop underlining internal thought and emphasized words now.
